What Emergency Water Removal Includes

Taxas Water Damage Pros provides emergency water extraction and removal for residential and commercial properties in Texas. Work may include inspecting affected areas, removing standing water, placing drying equipment, monitoring moisture, and documenting conditions.

We follow applicable practices from IICRC S500, the water damage standard, and use safety procedures consistent with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 HAZWOPER when hazards require them. Contaminated materials and waste may be handled under EPA RCRA requirements, with discharge limits considered under the Clean Water Act.

Mold testing, mold remediation, reconstruction, plumbing replacement, electrical work, and licensed work regulated by the Texas Occupations Code require a separate agreement or qualified provider. Mold-related work must follow applicable Texas licensing rules and IICRC S520.

Flood repairs may also involve the Dallas plumbing code, City of Dallas Building Inspection, or other approvals. FEMA, TCEQ, TDLR, the United States Environmental Protection Agency, and local officials may set additional requirements.

Appointments, Cancellations, and Changed Work

Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another confirmed method. We will discuss the reported water event, property access, expected arrival timing, and initial work before dispatch when conditions allow. Emergency conditions may require quick decisions, but service begins only after the customer or authorized representative approves the available scope.

Please give notice as soon as possible if access changes, an appointment is no longer needed, or site conditions differ from the original report. A cancellation or delay may affect scheduling, travel, equipment, or work already authorized.

Any added service, hidden damage, restricted access, hazardous material, or change in drying needs will be explained before the additional work proceeds when reasonably possible. Written or recorded approval may be requested.

If immediate action is needed to reduce property damage or protect people, we may recommend urgent steps while awaiting a broader scope decision.

Quotes, Authorizations, and Payment Duties

An estimate or written quote describes the work that can reasonably be identified at the time it is prepared. It is not a promise that concealed damage, contamination, access problems, or added drying time will not occur. Pricing may depend on affected areas, water conditions, labor, equipment, disposal, travel, and the approved scope.

The customer authorizes the listed work before service begins and agrees to pay the approved amount under the terms shown in the estimate, invoice, or service agreement. Payment is due according to that document.

Insurance involvement does not remove the customer’s responsibility for charges not paid by an insurer. We can provide reasonable job records for an insurance claim, but we do not guarantee coverage or claim approval.

If conditions require added labor, equipment, disposal, or another service, we will seek approval before changing the scope when practical. Unapproved work will not be treated as included solely because it was discussed informally.

Written Coverage for Completed Work

Taxas Water Damage Pros stands behind the workmanship expressly identified in a written estimate, invoice, or service agreement. The applicable document controls whether a workmanship warranty applies, what it covers, and how long it lasts. No separate warranty period is promised unless one is written in those materials.

Coverage generally concerns the specific service performed, not every condition at the property. It does not cover new leaks, recurring water intrusion, plumbing or roof defects, pre-existing damage, mold growth outside the approved scope, structural movement, customer work, or damage caused by another contractor. Coverage may also be affected when the customer denies access for inspection, removes drying equipment, changes completed work, ignores written care instructions, or fails to address the source of moisture.

To request warranty review, contact us promptly with the service address, invoice details, and a description of the concern. We may inspect the affected area before deciding whether the issue relates to covered workmanship. Any remedy will follow the written service agreement and applicable Texas law.

Responsibility for Site Conditions and Service Risk

To the fullest extent allowed by Texas law, Taxas Water Damage Pros’ responsibility for a covered claim is limited to the amount paid for the service that caused the claim. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including lost use, lost income, business interruption, or damage that existed before arrival. This limit does not remove rights that cannot legally be waived.

Water events can reveal weakened materials, unsafe wiring, plumbing defects, sewage contamination, mold, or structural concerns. We do not promise that extraction will prevent all secondary damage.

Work is performed using applicable guidance, including IICRC S500, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 HAZWOPER, EPA RCRA disposal rules, IICRC S520 where mold work is authorized, and Clean Water Act discharge limits. Texas Occupations Code licensing rules, Dallas plumbing code requirements, and inspection decisions may affect flood repairs.

Customers must disclose known hazards and follow safety instructions. We are not responsible for delays caused by insurers, authorities, weather, access limits, or third parties.

Questions About These Service Terms

Questions about these Terms of Service, an estimate, an invoice, or a scheduled job may be directed to Taxas Water Damage Pros at (321) 447-2235 or quote@emergencydrydallas.com. Written correspondence may be sent to 1001 Ross Ave, Suite 600, Dallas, TX, US. Include the property address, service date, and invoice or estimate number when available so we can identify the matter.

These terms may be updated to reflect changes in services, law, safety practices, or business operations. The current version will be posted on this website, and we may provide notice by email, text message, invoice, estimate, or another reasonable communication method.

An update applies prospectively unless the revised notice or applicable law states otherwise. The terms in effect when a service is authorized generally govern that job, subject to any written agreement that says otherwise.

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Please contact us before approving work if any part of these terms is unclear.

Service Expert at Taxas Water Damage Pros

I started in residential repair work in Texas, where slab leaks, burst pipes, flash floods, and storm-driven roof leaks can turn into serious drying problems quickly. I learned that good water removal means more than pumping out a room; it requires moisture checks, careful structural drying, and clear coordination with plumbers, contractors, and property owners. Texas homes, crawl spaces, attics, and commercial buildings shaped the practical approach I brought to this company.
